When the latest photos of this Asics Gel Lyte III sporting a familiar ‘Aqua’ color up arrived last week they unfortunately carried with them the notion that it might be yet another of Gel styles sequestered to the non-US regions of the world. Sure 2012 has seen an increase in US availability for Asics classics to some extent but it’s still hard not to be uneasy whenever a new pair surfaces and you’re immediately calculating in your head how much it will take to get them across the Atlantic. Fear not though, as at least one stateside store is carrying the black and purple combo.
