Vans’ titular sponsorship of the Warped Tour over the past eighteen years has furthered the brand’s association to punk rock and its descendant genres, but everybody loves a good ballad every now and again. Taking a page from James Taylor instead of Bad Brains, the Vans California Chukka Decon CA ‘Guitar Strap’ pack brings forth two suede styles featuring heel stripes borrowed from the patterning you’d expect to see attached to the buttons on a vintage acoustic. Part of the Holiday 2012 collection, these will be available at Vans California retailers shortly and you can see both pigskin suede colorups in greater detail after the jump.
