Jordan Spizike Gym Red Arriving At Retailers

It only takes a second glance at the name to recognize that the Jordan Spiz’ike refers to Spike Lee and his role as Mars Blackmon, but the context of this latest drop connects them to one Motorboat Jones as well.  Arriving several weeks before the final installment of the Air Jordan IX Johnny Kilroy saga is the new ‘Gym Red’ Spizike, a ‘Raging Bull’-ish nubuck design in which we saw hip-hop legend Nas perform on Saturday.  You’ll have your shot this weekend as these new Spiz’ikes arrive at select retailers like Social Status, and you can see a fresh crop of new images after the jump to tide you over until the Saturday, October 20th release.
