Ready to leave 2025 behind you? So are we. A first look at one of 2026’s most anticipated sneaker releases is here via official retailer images. The Air Jordan 11 Low “UNC” is indeed set to return in the new year, kicking off the Q2 “Summer” season in refreshing fashion.
Originally dropping back in 2001, the Air Jordan 11 Low “UNC” was the first-ever low-top version of the mega-popular Air Jordan 11. Complete with a patent leather mudguard mirroring Michael Jordan’s North Carolina Tar Heels days, the UNC Jordan 11s feature a white leather upper, white midsole, and translucent “icy” outsole for that classic, undeniable, and unbreakable Jordan aesthetic.
The Air Jordan 11 Low is usually a signal of the summer season where Jordan fanatics ditch the sweats and baggy jeans for shorts. Year in and year out, the Jumpman relies on the silhouette to be a force in the April/May/June months, and there’s no question that these have the ability to carry that load. What’s more, is that Jordan Brand is dropping these in full family sizes, allowing the entire tribe to get dressed in Carolina Blue essence. Unlike the ’01 and ’17 editions, these will feature Nike Air branding on the insoles.
