Suede is one of those materials added to a sneaker to give it some balance or tone things down, as the soft texture and depth of tone provides an earthy grounding influence. But that’s exactly the opposite of what’s going on here on the latest Vans Authentic releases, as black and champagne suedes are given a shimmer treatment that makes them burst with a metallic sheen under the right light. It’s a novel way to add some intrigue to simple golden and black plimsolls, and you can see both of them in more photos below before buying at Off the Wall retailers like DavidZ.
