A reminder how far not just running shoes but also apparel have come in the past quarter-century or so, New Balance’s latest pack of 574 classics takes its theme from the nylon track gear that’s been so popular at different points in history. The New Balance 574 ‘Windbreaker Pack’ is back for the first time since its initial showing this summer, and while all five pairs aren’t here, we get a better sense for the materials and color distributions on three of them. No word yet on whether these make a hilarious whooshing sound as you embody the very essence of speed, but the good looks are confirmed and a pre-order is available now for a January ship date.
