Further evidence of the convergence of menswear, streetwear, skate and other fashion niches converging can be seen in the newest trio from Vans OTW. Their upcoming ‘Feather Pack’ features an embroidered pattern you might expect from J.Crew and its peers in the preppy space. And the pack itself covers ground from obvious skate to chukka-derived lifestyle effort, the new Vans OTW Lasdun and Howell, respectively, with the Ludlow somewhere in the middle, a sort of inside-out Authentic (a skate icon originally conceived as a deck shoe). Let us know how this embroidered trio compares to the more ornate ‘Birds’ and ‘Trout’ drops and look for these at select retailers in January.
