With a strong influence in the sneaker game for the last two+ decades, Spike Lee deserves every bit of the respect he’s been given by Jordan Brand and the sneaker community. He was honored with the Spiz’ike in 2006 and later with the Son of Mars, and there’s no stopping what JB and even Nike will do for the famed film director. This Air Jordan XIII is just another example of Jays in Spike’s flicks, as this particular colorway was featured in ‘He Got Game‘, when Jake Shuttlesworth (played by Denzel Washington) cops these new kicks while he’s out on his mission of convincing Jesus to go to Big State.
