A Chuck Taylor derivation that’s seen limited play even as the One Star expands their classics catalog to keep pace with other brands’ heritage releases, Converse Japan reintroduces a couple of old school court kicks that deserve more time in the spotlight.  These new Converse Canvas Chevronstar designs feature tiger camouflage on their contrast-stitched uppers, high and lowtops adding a bit of Pro Leather/Blazer-ish branding instead of the All Star’s ankle patch look.  These are part of the Dave Spector-backed ‘U.S. Originator’ capsule along with other notable American imagery like DC Comics characters, so stick with Sneaker News for the latest and let us know if you’ll try to import this tiger camo pack.
