Tennis is a game heavily dependent upon lateral movement, but Nike Tennis is definitely on to something with this whole front/back thing. The Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour has taken it up a notch with a flurry of recent activity, including now three new colorways that depend upon some variation of this subtly blocked template pictured above. These could have been even crazier with a splatter, gradient or some other effect, so while they’ll still stand out on most tennis courts, the sneakerhead Vapor Tour 9 admirer will appreciate the restraint. It’s also especially dope how the darker green shade blends in through the midsole and adds a little oomph, so click through to see more details and let us know if the Zoom Vapor 9 Tour deserves serious consideration as the best modern tennis sneaker.
