Originally released as a basketball shoe named ‘Tournament’, the Campus is one of adidas’ and the sneaker industry as a whole’s first examples of a classic performance model moving over to double as a casual standby. It shares much in common with other lowtop styles like the Gazelle and Samba, so it’s only natural to see a new variation push toward the sport in which Three Stripes is strongest. This new adidas Campus FTBL uses offset lacing to achieve a new interpretation on this time tested silhouette, including truncated Stripes that confer a fresh and sporty vibe.
