Le Coq Sportif is still mostly an afterthought in the mainstream sneakerhead set. But after a couple of collaborations and in-house designs pushed the old school Eclat runner back into the public eye, it’s time for the Rooster brand to strike with another gem from the golden era vaults. This Le Coq Sportif Flash has strong potential to satisfy the serious classic running enthusiast, who by definition is interested in suede and nylon shapes that’ve aged to perfection. There’s one near reproduction of the 1990 original with a slightly lighter shade of grey suede and subtle blocking alteration at the toe and another with blue accents instead of purple. Let us know if these deserve the same kind of respect afforded to New Balance, Asics, Saucony vintage silos and stick with Sneaker News for release info.
