The Gourmet Nove was a short-lived lifestyle-oriented hightop featuring an ornamental velcro strap across its ankle gussets. Its upcoming sequel keeps with a very similar style, but switches the upper construction in the first two releases for a fresh feel. Black and tan Gourmet Nove 2 designs incorporate a woven texture that imitates a basket construction a la Nike Sportswear, but looks like either that ribbon-based weave or perhaps a novel embossing technique, depending on the angle viewed.
