Nike KD V “Aunt Pearl” – 2013 Kay Yow Collection

Too many of us have an ‘Aunt Pearl’: a beautiful woman whose untimely exit underlines the importance of breast cancer awareness and research.  Nike Basketball’s scoring machine Kevin Durant payed tribute to his late aunt on Valentine’s Day in his latest signature sneaker, and with the 2013 Kay Yow Collection available now, the ‘Aunt Pearl’ Nike KD V can’t be too far off.  The Kay Yow Cancer Fund-benefitting Hyperfuse 2012 Low and Zoom Hyperdisruptor feature Pinkfire Light uppers, so these KD 5s really stand out in white with pink stained glass detailing on the Swooshes, tongue and sockliner.  Click through for some new detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.
