It’s not just American football that’s changing. ‘The Global Game’ is evolving as well, with one key movement bringing players together for more and more short sided arrangements. Nike VP of Football Footwear Phil McCartney notes that indoor and street soccer matches have joined the “traditional five-a-side that we see being played en masse in the U.K.” These shifts inspired the new Nike FC247 collection, which brings together three different footwear choices for a variety of surfaces. The Nike Bomba Finale II is 10% lighter than its predecessor thanks to NIKESKIN technology, the Elastico Finale II is geared toward maximized traction on hard surfaces and our first look at the Lunar Gato II reveals a Hyperfuse and supple leather construction favored over the original’s spike medial side. Have a closer look at all three below and look for them at select retailers March 28th, 2013.
