We’ve seen a few of the Bulls-era Air Jordans hit the links in the form of golf cleat hybrids over the years. The one whose product cycle ended most recently is a natural fit for the traditionalist game given its wingtip inspiration, so the Air Jordan 2012 Golf Cleat pictured above has a fairly natural feel. Perhaps that’s because it has shed much of its basketball identity and much like the AJ3 version that Michael Jordan himself also wore, these apply the 2012’s signature elements to a sleek, highly breathable spiked silhouette. Interestingly, the tag inside this MJ-worn pair seems to have been ‘borrowed’ from one of those Jordan III cleats, so these might be even closer than we think. Check them out in more images after the jump and stay tuned to Sneaker News for updates on more rarities like this one that apparently ended thanks to a successful negotiation with mdgusa on eBay.
