Jordan Brand reintroduced the “Brogue” style of footwear with one of its more unique models in the Jordan City Air Max TRK during the Holiday 2011 season, but it appears that some plans to bring back the brogue was in the works for the following Winter season. Here’s a look at the unreleased Jordan Winterized Lunar Brogue – a high-cut winter-ready boot that is rife with advanced-tech details like Lunar-embedded cushioning, a Flywire-laden upper, carbon fiber panels on the heels, and Flight Carbon plate on the sole; the sturdy outsole would’ve given these the ability to stomp through inches of snow without much effort, but these apparently never made it past the cutting room floor.
