Le Coq Sportif was a brand that only Joakim Noah fans and hardcore sneaker collectors would have known just a short while ago.  There’s been a steady rise in activity from The Athletic Rooster, and today in mid-2013, they’re building serious momentum with some top-notch retro releases.  The Le Coq Sportif R1000 return is next on the horizon, this 1990 classic runner coming back for the first time in established colorways like this lime-hit edition.  Stick with Sneaker News for US release info, because a fourth quarter drop seems likely.
