The Air Vortex continues to be Nike Sportswear’s pre-Max suede and mesh weapon of choice. NSW has fleshed out this range of classic runners in the ‘New Balance’ range over the past year-plus and no model has benefited from the extra attention more than the Nike Air Vortex. This latest Vintage Air Vortex release combines Armory Slate and Armory Navy into one tremendously ‘cool’ colorup, but the key to its charm is how the uncredited brown tongue and sunny yellow heel counter quietly add a deeper harmony.
