The adidas Originals Trimm-Trab was launched as an off-pitch soccer shoe back in 1975. The Trimm Trab became popular with European football fans and Originals has brought it back several times owing to this popularity. Less commonly released is the Trimm Star that debuted a decade later, a sleek lowtop licensed to the German sports association as part of a campaign to improve public fitness.
