The OG set of Hyperflights from the early 2000s were known for their brightly-painted tonal uppers. The bring-back in 2013 sorta went away from that concept, going with graphic prints the represent the Big Three of LeBron, Kobe, and KD, and while the idea looked good on paper, they were “flops” at retail. That’s just the story of the Hyperflight – appreciated from afar but never experiencing that widespread popularity – and the Max Air revamp shares a bit of that same fate, but this tonal University Red, which brings us back to the original releases, should catch the eyes of those who copped then and now. These will drop at retailers like Oneness this Saturday, October 5th, so check below for additional photos and stay tuned for a release.
