Save the accent colors on a couple drops and maybe the one yellow pair, the Vans Cab Lite has been quite subdued with its coloring. This 21st birthday retooling on Steve Caballero’s classic scissor job arrives today in what might be its most expressive colorup to date, a Deep Teal combination of suede and textile that adds black to the laces, tongue and sockliner. It’s still a little strange to see this familiar silhouette without the traditional dragon tag on the sides, but that also exemplifies the modern appeal of the Cab Lite, which is available now at shops like CNCPTS.
