The adidas Originals LA Trainer represents an interesting time in the history of The Brand with the Three Stripes. adidas was gearing up for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles but at the same time, their ZX running series was about to launch and take the company in a new direction. The LA Trainer represents the end of the City-inspired names and the adjustable peg cushioning system, but its classic aesthetics live on with new colorways including the two pictured in detail below.
