New Balance “National Parks Pack”

New Balance “National Parks Pack”

New Balance National Parks Pack 3

Among the previews of fresh NBs dropping in January seen recently on Sneaker News was a New Balance 996 whose colors made sense for a December release, i.e., Christmas time.  It turns out there’s a different theme at play here but one that could certainly involve plenty of evergreen trees, snow, rain(and)deer, warm fires and other holiday themes.  The New Balance ‘National Parks Pack’ shouts out the brilliant forethought our founding fathers had to set aside some of the more beautiful parts of the natural landscape so they’ll forever be gloriously green even as our cities continually expand.  Joining the 996 in this tribute are blue pairs for the 990 OG (now pushing well past its 30th anniversary window into perhaps a permanent spot in the rotation) and the 1300, and all three are made here in the States (Maine, to be specific).  Check out the whole set in more photos below and stick with Sneaker News for updates on next month’s drop.
