Part of a solid if understated 25th anniversary campaign for the New Balance 996 this year was a marked increase in womens colorways. Look for this trend to continue into 2014, as arguably the single best running shoe of 1988 shows of another ladies duo set to release here in the not too distant future. This W996 duo is split between navy and grey pigskin suede/mesh combos, both possessing metallic silver ‘N’ branding, white midsoles and silver outsoles. It’s a slightly glitzy take on NB’s quintessential look and you can see more photos below to tide you over until they drop.
