Tokyo-based masters of the retail buildout Specialnormal have just put the finishing touches on an exciting new Nike retail space in Japan. The basketball oriented store space, which is the largest of its kind in all the country, is anchored around a display with a regulation size key, as well as lighting ring at the same 3m5cm height as the hoop that’s right where you’d expect it. The painted area is surrounded by product including an 8m footwear wall, and that’s only one corner of the dramatic and engaging space.
