First Look at the Nike Kobe 9 Low

The first images of the Nike Kobe 9 Low emerge in a yellow/black/red colorway reminiscent of 2010’s “Bruce Lee” Kobe V. Unlike the Flyknit-based Kobe 9 Elite, the Kobe 9 Low makes use of Engineered Mesh with vents targeted near the midfoot as well as a fortified toe-box with Nike’s “tape” method. Some of the details that it shares with the Kobe 9 Elite is the new midsole design with the heavy use of carbon fiber, and the aesthetic add-on of the nine strikes on the heel (which represent the ninth signature model among other things).
