Are you familiar with the Nike Air Tech Challenge II first run colorways? We just got reintroduced to the iconic ‘Hot Lava’ edition this past Friday, and now another of the 1989 OGs sporting that classic splatter print has come onto the horizon with a retro release pending. This ‘Clay Blue’ Air Tech Challenge 2 is named for its cobalt sections, is done mostly in white leather and also includes orange accents and a bit of grey. It’s so closely linked to the ‘Hot Lava’ edition, and their product numbers are ordered in sequence, but this one carries with it a little less historical significance, though judging by the first pair’s reception last week, you’ll probably have to be ready if you want to get yours at retail.
