Before the $400 Jordan Shine, there was the Jordan Grown

Earlier this week Sneaker News confirmed the retail price of the Jordan Shine (it was $400, by the way). It’s clear that Jordan Brand is trying to elbow its way into the high-end sneaker market, but back in 2010, it made an impressive effort with the Jordan Grown series. Unlike the Shine, which is inspired by the Air Jordan 1, the Jordan Grown was its own silhouette that reflected that “grown” sneakerhead look. After a short hiatus, the Grown series is back with the low-top V.5 model, seen here in the Black/Venom Green colorway. Click in to see more angles, then cop yours at shops like Oneness.
