It’s been the Shadow Original getting more attention of late, but perhaps that in fact indicates good things to come from the Saucony Jazz Original. The Jazz O takes its place among what’s been a particularly strong set of in-house classics releases from the Pennsylvania-based brand this spring, offering a couple of new pairs that have some precedent in another northeast US running specialist. With nylon uppers and leather accents, the blue pair in particular seems like the Saucony answer to the royal ‘Backpack’ New Balance 574.
