China-exclusive Kobes have hurt feelings over here in the US before – last year’s Nike Kobe 8 “Spark” for Shanghai is probably the best example of that. Again teasing us is this Kobe 9 EM, which features an XDR tooling on bottom to satisfy the legions of outdoor players scattered across China. The shoes also feature a vibrant gold/red/black colorway and some special snake detailing that shows up in the form of some embroidery on the tongue.
