In 2006, Jordan Brand unveiled the Spiz’ike sneaker – a hybrid mash-up of several Air Jordan models associated with Spike Lee and the memorable “Mars Blackmon” ad campaigns. The first-ever colorway was this mix of white, red, green, and grey inspired by his 40 Acres and a Mule production company that celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2006. Next Saturday, Jordan Brand will pay homage to Spike with a Retro of this original model, tying it together with the Air Jordan 6 Retro that we showed you earlier today. The release date is indeed August 9th, so check out the full photo and stay tuned for more updates on this surprising release.
