As far as first generation Nike Flyknit models go, the Flyknit Racer has shown itself to have a lot more staying power than the Flyknit Trainer. Exactly why the Trainer faded into the background is a mystery, but hopefully you don’t mind the abundance of Racers that have been popping up in the wake of that.
