New Balance 996 Made in USA – Grey – Red

Why is it that seemingly every time a Made in USA New Balance appears, it’s from a shop outside of America’s borders? Today we get a look at the recurring irony thanks to this New Balance 996, a pair fairly familiar with the luxurious Americanization of its upper as the last time we saw the model it appeared in a “Dark Grey” perforated leather/suede combination. Here they grey stays, but anything resembling leather is ditched for a matching tonal mesh while the heel gets a fall-ready burgundy treatment. We’re still waiting to see if this pair will arrive stateside anytime soon, but in the meantime, you can always pick up your size via select international shops like Up There.
