Michael Jordan became more than a basketball player in the 90s, he became a full on star in popular culture. His influence was as far reaching as having his signature sneakers shouted out in the Japanese manga series Slam Dunk. As we’re nearing an end to the year of the Air Jordan 6, Jordan Brand will be paying homage to the series and the fandom that followed with the Air Jordan 6 Slam Dunk, and possibly a Jordan Super.Fly 3 that we recently got a preview of featuring a similar reflective print. The brand is gearing up for something even larger apparently, as the trailer for “Project X” unveils a countdown ending two days from now in its brief comic-strip inspired conception.
