adidas has been bringing back classic basketball models for a minute now, just look at what they did earlier this year with the resurgence of the adidas Top Ten. Of course, the shoe is contextualized with a lifestyle approach and even sometimes given some modern updates, but none has had a stronger departure than this adidas Originals Veritas Mid. The brand new shoe takes inspiration from the classic adidas Forum, but the silhouette is streamlined, while a concealed lacing system adds to the update. Here we see two colorways as a part of their debut Statement Pack – one with a nylon photo printed upper of city lights flying past at lightning speed atop a black base and the other with a double white woven ballistic mesh. Note that each of these aesthetics has been found on everyone’s favorite adidas ZX Flux before.
