The Nike Kobe 9 is as busy as ever strictly based on how many iterations of the shoe we now have entering the 2014-2015 NBA season. There’s the Nike Kobe 9 Elite, a sneaker that’s only seen in PE form if you’re wearing no.24 for the Lakers, a member of that team, or for some reason you’re P.J. Tucker. Then there’s the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low which the Black Mamba has rocked himself on a few occasions. Lastly, there’s the Nike Kobe 9 EM, a shoe that’s currently getting a team makeover in a number of near monochromatic uppers with metallic swooshes. That’s not the only aesthetic the shoe is limited to though, as today we get a look at a brand new Lakers PE featuring a jagged purple and black striped upper while light accents of yellow pop throughout.
