The return of the Mac. adidas Originals has dressed up their retro basketball models that lingered around in the 80s and early 90s with premium lifestyle takes before. Think the recent resurgence of the adidas Forum Hi and the adidas Top Ten – two models that have even been featured in the three stripe’s continuous fixation of serpent skin in recent months. Now the adidas T-Mac 3 could be making a comeback in both a synthetic crocodile and snakeskin look in the near future. The silhouette defined McGrady’s time on the Orlando Magic when he was at his prime as the leading scorer in the league in back-to-back years but couldn’t lift his team out of the first round of the playoffs. You know how the rest of the story goes – trade to Houston, injuries, retirement, baseball career. So while this lifestyle look is a bit removed from anything T-Mac would have ever worn on-court this could also point to a larger bring-back of Tracy McGrady‘s third silhouette, and that’s something to get excited about.
