adidas Originals is killing it this year, from re-introducing the Stan Smith in a number of exciting ways to the revitalization of their retro running lines from ZX all the way through EQT. They’ve showed a sensibility at joining the past and present, and they’re latest project has them hard at work presenting an entirely new creation aimed at revolutionizing a lifestyle wear in the adidas Tubular. The Y-3 Qasa was a shoe that always turned heads but was rather limited thanks to a lofty price point and short run, but now the man behind that model in new VP of Global Design at Originals Nic Galway has returned with a more accessible take in the adidas Originals Tubular. We sat down with him for an interview about the shoe that will be readily available for your purchasing pleasure on November 21st, and today we’re getting a better look at the monochromatic grey pair.
