Just because a player has been retired for over a decade doesn’t mean their signature line stops, especially when it comes to Nike’s basketball imprint. Stars out of the golden era of hoops are still getting brand new models whether it’s most notably Michael Jordan, or Charles Barkley with the Chuck Posite, and now Penny Hardaway. His Nike Air Penny series has been one of the most respected hardwood series as it gave us the likes of the Air Max Penny and the Nike Air Foamposite One. Now the Penny imprint looks to tread new territory with the Nike Air Penny 6. The most notable influence here has to be his first silhouette, but with a clean “Copper” finish, a hidden dynamic flywire, and a 180 degree air max unit, the shoe should stand up when compared to modern day performance models. There’s no word yet on when this Penny 6 will release, but here’s to looking forward to what’s in store for 2015. Stick around for a full look at the Nike Air Penny 6 below.
