The classicism of the Nike Blazer Mid has always been embraced over at the Swoosh. Time and time again we’ve seen them dress up the silhouette in a plethora of premium suedes and leathers to convince us that the shoe was indeed a vintage reincarnation and nostalgia should return in waves. But don’t count out the silhouette’s ability to transform over time. Afterall, the shoe was originally a basketball shoe, then a skate shoe, then a lifestyle go-to. Here we see a WMNS release in a stripped down, bare-bones view that takes a triangular, rubberized geometric form. With no apparent Swoosh branding, Nike is counting on the originality of the all black aesthetic to win you over. Did it work – are you a fan of the geometric take on the Blazer Mid?
