Yeezy season is approaching. Yesterday we received word that the NBA’s All-Star Weekend could potentially serve as a launching point for Kanye West x adidas to finally unveil some product together. adidas Originals has already stated that Kanye’s latest shoe will be available through their sneaker reservation app, and some select buyers have posted photos of invites for a showing of a Kanye x adidas collaboration. Now we see this countdown currently resting at 8 days under the Yeezy.supply name. With an ominous white walled office enclosure, the look is reminiscent of the room at the end of 2001 A Space Odyssey, a film that Kanye‘s quick to reference as inspiration. No word yet on whether this is an officially launched adidas site, but given Yeezy is spelled out in the URL with a ‘Y’ instead of ‘YeeZi’ it doesn’t look likely. Check out the site here.
