Pigalle x Nike Sportswear Collection Coming in June

Pigalle Nike Air Force 1 Ppp 6

Pigalle and Nike Sportswear are teaming up once again, only this particular collection will be “three times bigger” according to co-founder Stepháne Ashpool. Available this June, the collaborative project promises a number of sweaters, shirts, jogging pants, and of course sneakers although it isn’t completely clear as to what silhouette will get the go-ahead nod from the Swoosh. Inspired by basketball, the collection is also based on time from the 24-second shot-clock or even the 24 hours found in a day and will be entirely tech-fleece based. Stick around for more quotes from Pigalle’s Ashpool after the break.

– “It won’t be too limited like last time. Enough so that kids can have it.”

– “From now on, it’s going to be all about innovation products with innovation and style. There’s going to be mixed technology, not specifically wearable technology, but tech fabrics. It’s really important for me to mix things. I want to mix fabrics together with tech to make those as good as I can.”

– “I have no rush to grow the brand big. I have a good life and I want to grow slow so that everything is perfect. Basketball will always be at the heart of the brand, mixing my sports past from a city that is so fashionable like Paris. I grew up around designers like Thierry Mugler and Paco Rabanne, so it’s the best of both worlds for me.”
