Not a LeBron, not an Air Jordan. Instead, Nike’s latest Oregon Ducks Pit Crew sneaker comes in the form of a silhouette we haven’t seen before. The shoe sees a number of inspirations – the Chuck Taylor obviously comes to mind given the toebox, and outsole, while an Air Jordan 11 like heel collar dips to meet ‘Pit Crew’ branding. The silhouette features subtle ‘Wings’ to match UO’s football helmets throughout the upper, but the more noticeable reference are the trees that can also be found on the Tinker-designed court of Matthew Knight Arena.
