Nike KD 7 “Electric Eel” – Nikestore Release Info

The KD 7 continues to reference electricity in seemingly every way imaginable, as the latest colorway featuring a unique pattern on the posite heel finally has a narrative – electric eels. The Nike KD 7 “Electric Eel” will arrive at retailers on March 19th, 2015. The theme of electricity has run rampant throughout Kevin Durant’s seventh signature sneaker from the get-go. We’ve seen Benjamin Franklin references, 35k degrees in an homage to the heat of a lightning strike, all in the name of personifying Durant’s game as, well, electric. This pair goes beneath the see thanks to an ominous black upper accented by Metallic Pewter speckles in an effort to depict the appearance of an electric eel while Flash Lime hints at the electricity running throughout the creature. Lyon Blue hits the lining and outsole in an effort to liven up the otherwise murky appearance. You can grab the KD 7 “Electric Eel” next Thursday, March 19th for $150 via Nikestore at 10am, but just incase you can’t wait, there’s always eBay.
