The Nike Air Max Uptempo is returning in a colorway initially designated as a Derek Fisher PE. The Lakers look was gifted to the guard back during his first few seasons with the Hollywood squad, as the bulky silhouette features a perfect combination of purple on the lower mudguard while yellow outlines the vintage Swoosh, hits the Uptempo heel logo and graces the Air Max below. The shoe is a reminder of some of Nike’s more unique basketball offerings during the early to mid 90s, as the brand wasn’t afraid of substantial midsoles and quirky design cues.
