Earlier today we unveiled the results of the first round of voting in the Sneaker News March Madness Nike Kobe tournament. As expected, all four #1 seeds managed to win by wide margins, but that doesn’t guarantee their safety because the Sweet 16 is filled with plenty of viable candidates. We’ll start the Sweet 16 round of voting with the South region, where the best Prelude, a mysterious Kobe 7, the Galaxy, and Masterpiece square off for a chance at the Elite 8 and ultimately the crown. Vote now – polls close on Sunday, March 29th at 11:59 PM EST.

The Kobe 1 “Prelude” led the way when Nike chose to re-release the entire signature line as a precursor to the launch of the Kobe 9 Elite. It faces off against a true sleeper hit – the Kobe 7 “Cloak” – which debuted in 2012 to much fanfare.
