Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” – Release Reminder

Nike Lebron 12 Ext Rubber City Release Reminder 01

The Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” arrives at retailers tomorrow, April 25th. When first introduced, the Nike LeBron 12 was missing any Cleveland connection in terms of debut colorways. While that most definitely had to do with the fact that Nike’s production couldn’t keep up with LeBron’s surprising change to return to the Cavaliers, they’ve made up for that with the later installments like this Akron referencing LeBron 12 EXT. LeBron’s home city was once a hub of car and tire production, earning the nickname ‘Rubber City’ and the reference couldn’t be any more obvious thanks to a black tire tred upper. The chrome touches add a premium finish to nod at a car’s rims while an icy finish keeps the hexagonal air unit in check on the outsole. Grab your pair this Saturday from spots like Sneaker Politics or on eBay.
