Is Jordan Brand Releasing Every Alternate Sample That Never Released?

Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89 Sample 1

Big news for Air Jordan 4 fans today is the sighting of a new sample Retro colorway floating around the web. The inspiration or story behind this never before seen white and red colorway is still unclear, but with the text “Alternate 89” on the inside of the heel tab, it’s worth a guess that this could be an original sample colorway that never released back in 1989. Could this be a new colorway concept we’ll see for Air Jordan retros? Will we see other originally scrapped colorways drop on Jordans? Or maybe we’re way off the mark on what “Alternate 89” means. Only time will tell, but until more info is available to enlighten us all, take a look at the Air Jordan 4 sample in question and let us know if you’d like to see them release.
