The adidas Originals SL Loop has helped revitalize adidas Originals’ lifestyle department with its foot dipped in history. The shoe is inspired by their podium shoe in the 1972 Munich Olympics, the adidas SL ’72, with an eye on casual use thanks to a slip-on construction and even a number of moccasin creations. The new adidas SL Loop CT sees a number of advancements to improve the first installment, as the upper ditches the sock-like fit with a more traditional tongue tooling. The upper is reminiscent of the adidas Tubular with a synthetic webbing creating a lockdown fit in either yellow, black, or maroon. The side panels see alternating cables add support while also serving as the lace eyelets not unlike the Nike Free Powerlines+. The midsole remains rather unchanged, but the bottom utilizes a new ridged construction. Grab the trio today on Oneness.
